About Us

Camp ALOMA is operated by the Arizona Lutheran Outdoor Ministry Association (ALOMA) and is a member of the National Lutheran Outdoors Ministry Association (NLOMA).

ALOMA is an association of Lutheran churches across Arizona and southern Nevada.  ALOMA is not affiliated with any particular Lutheran denomination but has representatives from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS), the Lutheran Churches in Mission for Christ (LCMC) and one congregation affiliated with The American Association of Lutheran Churches (TAALC) and the Alliance of Renewal Churches (ARC).

The camp operates year-round and is open to all Christian groups.  The camp is available to all types of Christian activities including church councils, choirs, youth groups, church boards, men’s or women’s groups, senior adult groups, church and school staff, weekend retreats, winter retreats, scout groups, and inter-generational family camps.

The camp is located 5 miles west of Prescott, Arizona in the Prescott National Forest.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO CAMP

When driving to Camp, if using GPS, or online map service, we recommend getting directions to Thumb Butte park, and then from there to camp.  This will ensure you are not given directions to camp using the back road, which is less passable. Use the address of 300 Margaret Drive.
